AdventHealth half way done with $30M renovation in Merriam

The original hospital tower at AdventHealth’s Shawnee Mission campus in Merriam is halfway through a $30 million renovation that is updating windows, creating more space for beds, and generally putting a fresh coat of paint on the facility. Renovation work on the tower, built in 1972 and in the center of the main building at 9100 W. 74th St., began early last year, and the first phase wrapped up early this week after widening the windows of two floors through five and updating its interior. Habitat Northumberland, Ova Time Renovations fundraising golf tournament returns May 27

Habitat for Humanity Northumberland and Ova Time Renovations are calling on the community to take part in their sixth annual partnership golf tournament at Ashbrook Golf Club on Saturday, May 27. This year, the goal is to raise $15,000 through participation and sponsorships to help support Habitat’s build program in Northumberland County, said Habitat organizers. The price per foursome is $600 or $150 per person. The fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, lunch and steak dinner, as well as an opportunity to compete in on-course games.
